No post this week

I finally remember to post on my normal day and I'm to busy to actually post. Finals are showing up in school so my teachers are working my classes to no end. Plus other stories are in need of my attention. So no post this week but hopefully next week will be alright.

Calypso's Rage ~ 10

Calypso's Rage
Ten
The next morning I was up before any of my crew as was normal for me. I walked out on deck and breathed in the cool morning air. Not many people were moving around in town and the sea was calm. But there was a new ship docked in the port.
It wasn't any pirate ship I knew of. But it didn't look like a normal Navy ship.
"What is it?" Jack asked appearing as if summoned
I pointed at the ship "What do you think of that?"
He studied the ship "Can't say for sure but I get the feeling that ship is not good for us."
I nodded, "I'm going to take a look around town. Keep the lads subdued until one of us heads out to the sea."
I jumped off the ship and didn't turn to look back at Jack. I headed towards Kane's ship and found the same man from last night standing on the deck.
He looked at me surprised, "Captain Caspian, what are you doing here?"
"There's a new ship in the port it's not one I recognize." I said
The man nodded "Kane doesn't generally come out of his cabin the day after he drinks but I shall make sure he knows."
"Thank you" I replied and walked away
The next ship I visited what Estella's since I didn't know were Sawyer was. Estella's ship was built to be fast but there were hidden dangers in her hull.
"Each ship matches its Captain." I said with a chuckle
There was no one on deck so I climbed up and knocked on the door to the captain's quarters.
"Hello Cas." Estella's voice came from behind me
I turned "Glad to see I'm the only captain that wakes early. Where were you hiding?"
She pointed at the crow's nest and I nodded "Did you see the ship then."
    "Aye"
"I've already warned Kane but what about Sawyer?"
    "Sawyer left last night."
"That's good what do you think of the ship?"
"It hasn't done anything yet but I saw three men get off of it and head up to the Lady's place."
"She would have warned us if she was expecting company so a surprise visit. I was going to look around town but maybe the Lady's house would be a better place to look. Do you want to accompany me?"
Estella nodded "If it was someone she wanted us to know about she would put them in a room we would be able to see."
I smiled "Then let us be on our way."

So Sorry

I am so sorry readers. The internet has been horrible to me for the last couple days. I haven't gotten the chance to write until right now but I'm not sure when the internet will decide to cut out again so I shall try to write tomorrow instead of today. So sorry.

Calypso's Rage ~ 9

I forgot to write yesterday. Or to be more precise I forgot it was the day I normally write. That happens sometimes but I remembered as soon as I woke this morning so here it is.

Calypso's Rage

Kane laughed as we sat down with another set of drinks. Estella sat quietly while sawyer looked numb. The merchant hadn't followed us back into the pub and I doubted he would.
"Was it that amusing to see me work." I asked
"Aye, I never get tired of your work." Kane responded, "But Sawyers comments made it even better."
Sawyer looked up at me, "Did you have to break him so harshly."
Kane laughed again and I smiled, "Of course I am Caspian. I warned him to back off, just like I do to everyone who seeks something from me. He ignored my warning and this is what happened."
"But he didn't even know you were Caspian."
"That's the point lad," Kane responded, "Those that try to find him will have no place to start."
I nodded "Each pirate has there own persona, this is mine. Caspian is a pirate captain that is better left alone. He will be kind but to those that look down on him it will not end well."
Sawyer just stared at me, "So that's why you are call a puppeteer. You control from the background no one ever seeing who you are."
I smiled "I never thought of it like that."
Kane slapped Sawyer on the back almost making him spill his drink, "And now you know. Caspian is not a man who backs down from a challenge."
They drank into the night. Kane as usual became the most drunk. I offered to take him back to his ship while Estella said she would take care of Sawyer, who had passed out. I was half-way there when one of Kane's crew members found us.
He was a big man with dark skin, "Captain Caspian," He greeted me, "I'm sorry you have to deal with this sorry excuse of a man."
I laughed and he took his captains weight "If he was a better man he wouldn't be as good of a pirate."
"Aye, that be true. If you'll excuse me I need to get this guy back to his ship."
I nodded and watched him walk away. Smiling slightly, I headed for my own ship. It was quiet near the docks unlike the town. Although this was a town that accepted pirates, it was not a place safe to them. I kept one hand near my swords as I walked back to Calypso's Rage.
